Hemos dejado al mejor para el final. Mingma no tiene la velocidad de Ueli Steck, ni los logros alpinísticos de Denis Urubko, ni el currículum de ninguno de los rescatadores de Iñaki. Mingma era su cocinero, su compañero y su amigo. Compartió con Iñaki sus últimas expediciones en el Himalaya. Se decían hermanos. Y nos recibió como si realmente fuéramos su familia. En Mingma todo tiene un significado nuevo y diferente: la montaña, la familia, la vida, el tiempo.

We’ve left the best for last. Mingma doesn’t have the speed of Ueli Steck, or the mountaineering achievements of Denis Urubko, or the curricula of any of the rescuers of Inaki. Mingma was his cook, his partner and friend. He shared with Iñaki his last expeditions in the Himalayas. They called brothers each other. And he received us like if we really were his family. With Mingma everything has a new and different meaning: mountains, family, life, time.
