El Equipo Español de Alpinismo abrió hace pocos días una nueva vía de escalada en una montaña virgen, en Nepal. Bautizaron a la montaña con el nombre nepalí de “Sakaton”. Es una hermosa cumbre de 6.325 metros de altura. Nos hace especial ilusión que hayan decidido bautizar a la vía con el mismo nombre que nuestra película, “Pura Vida”, en honor a su protagonista, Iñaki Ochoa de Olza Seguín. La película sigue viajando por el mundo, llevando allá donde va el mensaje vital de Iñaki. Del mismo modo, la nueva vía se llamará así para siempre, recordando a quien vaya a intentarla el espíritu con el que Iñaki afrontaba la escalada, la montaña y la vida.

The Spanish mountaineering team opened a few days ago a new climbing path in a virgin mountain, in Nepal. They named the mountain with the Nepali name of “Sakaton”. It is a beautiful summit of 6325 meters high. It makes us special illusion that they have decided to baptize the path with the same name as our movie, “Pura Vida”, in honor to his hero, Iñaki Ochoa de Olza Seguín. The film is still travelling the world, taking wherever it goes the vital message of Iñaki. Similarly, the new path will be named like this forever, reminding anyone who is going to try it the spirit with which Iñaki faced climibing, mountain and life.
