DESDE PURA VIDA: ¡ENHORABUENA, PABLO!

by purelife on February 19th, 2013

The Goya are over. Once again we have seen with disappointment that the documentary is still being the little brother of Spanish cinema. Hopefully in a few years, little by little, it will happen as it has been happening with the animation, which has finally ceased to be a smaller category to be considered for what it really is, true cinema. But now it is not time of complaints but of congratulations. Congratulations to the nominated documentaries, to the four. Any of them could have won. And congratulations, wholeheartedly, to Pablo Berger and his team. We were lucky to meet them in San Sebastian and it was a real pleasure. The cinema needs good movies, yes, but above all good people. That is why we are so happy. Migueltxo y Pablo were not there, but another Pablo that deserved to win and he did it. So here’s our congratulation (and Snow White has a mountaineer double meaning… we always try to look things in a positive way…).
