Y si no puedes escalarla, pues búscate otra.

Climbing without oxygen? I don’t think that is fair play. It is not about lowering the difficulty of the mountain to your level. The adventure lies on reaching mountains summit with its difficulties. If you don’t think you are able, then, look for another one.
Going to the summit is very gratifying, but what makes the experience worth it is to enjoy the fellowship of your team. Choosing your team mates is the most important on climbing. You can go with the more experimented alpinists but they can turn out to be shellfish. In the mountain, you need people up to help you, same as you would help them.
Most of my climbing it’s been in Romania, but I have gone to other countries as well. You have to. If you only climb in your country you are not aware of how things are on the outside. Each country’s culture makes a different experience of it.
I started climbing when I was 13 but my parent’s wouldn’t let me. One day, my father saw me climbing a boulder and then he realized he had to teach me to avoid accidents. That was ages ago. And then, back in 2008, there I was, going down the Himalaya with the best climbers.
If you have a look to the rescues at Himalaya, you will see there haven’t been many. But with Iñaki an extraordinary thing happened; people from everywhere join ourselves to help him. It’s not because alpinists are better, but we know how lonely it feels up there when you are in trouble and we did our best so he wouldn’t feel that way.
